Businesses can now provide skilled agency workers to plug staffing gaps caused by strike action under changes to the law coming into force on Thursday, the Government has announced.
With Met Office warnings of temperatures possibly soaring to 40C next week, passengers should expect some delay to rail services, as railway speed restrictions may be necessary.
Over 40,000 staff members from Network Rail and thirteen train operators intend on walking out, over three days next week – Tuesday 21st June, Thursday 23rd June and Saturday 25th June.
