The biggest rail workers’ union has rejected the latest offers from Network Rail and the train operating companies aimed at resolving the long-running disputes over pay, jobs and conditions.
Union leader Mick Lynch has said that, while he continues to be an “optimist”, there is currently “no deal in sight” as the country faces a month of rail disruption.

Postal strikes planned with the Royal Mail on Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1.
