D821: Preservation Pioneer

This year sees the diesel preservation movement celebrate the 50th anniversary of Class 42 diesel hydraulic D821 Greyhound being bought from British Rail, making the Warship the first privately preserved ex-British Railways main line diesel locomotive to enter preservation.
