Three new entrances will be opened at Leeds station, as well as 40% more ticket barriers, as the Government announced a further £200 million for the project.
Network Rail said that most rail services were expected to run as normal on Monday after Storm Boelo, but recommended passengers check before they travel.
Rail passengers will now be able to travel with another company to finish their journey free of charge when their original train has been cancelled, the Government has announced.
