Train drivers involved in a long-running dispute over the sacking of a colleague have voted to continue taking industrial action for another six months.

Members of Aslef on Hull Trains backed more strikes by 95%.
The union said 90% of its members entitled to vote took part in the ballot.

The company said the dismissal was on security grounds but Aslef says the sacking was unfair.
A series of strikes was held last year and could now continue into the summer following Friday’s ballot result.
A spokesperson for Hull Trains, said: “Although we have not yet received official notification, we are disappointed to learn of the result of this latest ballot.
“The company has made a number of proposals for a resolution of this matter. However, we remain committed to further, open dialogue to resolve this situation. The safety of our customers remains our number one priority.
“Customers can always access the very latest travel information via our website and social media channels.”
